This Specialized Armament military-grade Carbine has been carefully assembled using only Colt and SA parts, along with accessories from manufacturers who meet Specialized Armaments exacting standards. The meticulous attention to detail can be seen throughout this weapon including the standard AR-15 gas system which has been modified to fit neatly inside the rugged free floating rail system (LaRue Tactical). Since the precision fitted Colt front sight base was used, in its modified configuration, the entire factory gas system is maintained to ensure optimal performance. This Suppressed Operator (OP) with its 10 inch barrel ("X") is mission capable right out of the box and ready for any M1913 sighting system, illumination devices or other rail accessories.
Note 1: This SA Carbine has our new SWAT-5E sound suppressor manufactured by GSL Technologies of Jackson, Michigan. Made from titanium and Inconel, the lightweight suppressor is mounted to a custom Colt barrel which has been carefully machined for concentricity and high-tolerance (3A) threads. The SWAT-5E "silencers" (NFA) are also availble for purchase seperately and rated for automtic fire.
Note 2: This firearm will not function correctly without the suppressor attached due to the restricted flow gas system. The weapon and suppressor were designed and engineered as an integrated system - for optimal performance.
Note 3: This is an NFA Short Barrel Rifle (SBR) and NFA Silencer, requiring 2 NFA tax stamps ($400)
These items can transfer to any class 3 dealer or class 2 manufacturer (SOT), tax-exempt on a Form 3.
