These high level courses are far different from any other classroom training offered in the firearms industry. Without manufacturer support or sales bias, we will examine closely the AR-15 at its core, including its magazines, ammunition, and accessories. There is some homework and there are both written and hands-on aspects to all the class quizzes, which people do occasionally fail. This is real military-grade training – not a fluffy sales seminar. Each person will earn the certificate(s) to a minimum standard and learn a great deal. To quote some ancient, unknown scholar: Jeden Tag heißt der Schultag, (Every day is a school day.)
M16 Armorer Course
Advanced M16 Armorer Course
NOTE - The Advanced Course CANNOT be attended by itself.
It is NOT a stand-alone course of instruction.

The ADV Course is a challenging block of material which builds directly onto the framework and design of the M16 Armorer Course. This highly-structured, weapons-grade tutorial consists of material originally developed for use at the JFK Special Warfare Center (Ft. Bragg, NC), which is constantly updated and refined each year.
You will gain a far broader understing of AR-15 type firearms, ammunition, components, materials, engineering, training, and the firearms industry. The tools we work with on a daily basis, including sound suppressors (silencers).
NO student who fails the M16 Armorer Course will be allowed to attend the ADV Armorer Course. NO exceptions.
Specialized Armament provides: All weapons (select-fire & semi-auto-only), armorer tool kits,
SA manuals (M16 Manual and ADV M16 Manual), shop tools, special weapons, cut-aways, gages & fixtures, and spare parts.
Student Requirements: A couple pens. And a few sheets of notebook paper for a standard American 3-ring binder (optional).

Due to weapons security issues, the nature of the training, and other safety concerns, all training courses are normally conducted at restricted access Police and Military training sites.
Enrollment is restricted to law enforcement, military, corrections, nuclear security and security contractors. Private citizens who work/contract for any of the above entities, most retired personnel and certain firearms/ammunition industry professionals are also eligible to attend. These courses are not open to the general public.
If you do not meet the employment requirements outlined above, any request to attend a course under special circumstances can be approved by the Instructor or Host Agency.
