This Colt AR6526 HBAR GOVT Carbine barrel assy was developed from the R0770 barrel,
For police and export sales. Purchased mainly by Specialized Armament for US LE sales.
The barrel itself was also the basis for the later Colt 16 inch IAR barrel.
Markings:
C MP 5.56 NATO 1/7
Chrome-lined barrel.
Front Sight Base: Standard - For fixed carry handle (Field Sights and 800M Sights)
Not for use with flat-top upper receivers.
Carbine barrel extension.
The barrel extension does have M4 feedramps. (52 Degrees)
As pictured - M16A2 Compensator, Crush Washer, and Sling Swivel. (Factory Riveted)
