Description
Colt R0770 Carbine barrel assy - Foreign police and military sales. Mostly export contracts. ("SCAR-B")

These chrome-lined barrel assy's were built by Colt in the mid/late 1990's.
14.5 inch heavy barrel. (Also developed into the M4A1 SOCOM).
Front Sight Base ("F" marked) - For use with Colt M4 "FLAT-TOP" Upper Receivers (600m sights).
Carbine barrel extension.
The barrel extension does have M4 feedramps. (52 Degrees)
As pictured - M16A2 Compensator, Crush Washer, and Sling Swivel. (Factory Riveted)

This barrel itself was used on the Colt SCAR-B prototypes and combined with a special folding sight assy.
Using a standard carbine gas tube.
(Not the same as the 6940 folding sight which has a higher gas tube location and uses a straight gas tube.)
SA does have several of these original barrels also available without FSB or other parts: $499.00
(For people trying to do special projects or Colt SCAR-B clones - never machined for FSB or gas block).
